I guess I kind of disappeared from blog world. Sorry about that. I go through moods where I share everything and then I go through moods where I think no one wants to read anything I write, so I don't write anything. I know reading about an overweight stay-at-home mom trying to lose weight is not everyone's idea of a good time, but it helps me to be able to go back and read about where I was and to see how far I have come.
While I am nowhere near where I want to be, I have made some progress. I haven't ran any since I completed the 5k because I messed up my knee on the last hill, but I have tried to snack less, eat smaller portions and drink more water. I am happy to say that I am down 17 pounds total! I'm almost half way to my goal!
I also wanted to share how crazy I am with you guys. (As if you didn't know already!) I purchased the Insanity workout this weekend and am going to do my best to complete it. (It won't be here for a few more days.) I am excited, but a little scared because I've heard how tough it is. I believe that if I stick with it I will lose weight, but I just have to keep myself motivated. I'm considering creating an alternate blog to document my time with Insanity, but we'll see.
